Financial Assistance & Scholarships

Central Catholic High School offers financial assistance to students whose families demonstrate significant financial need.

Based on available funds and the number of applicants each year, Central Catholic makes every effort to provide assistance to those families who need help.

Approximately 30% of Central Catholic students receive some type of financial assistance. Central Catholic students receive more than $1.5 million in financial assistance annually.

The Financial Assistance Application Priority Date for families in the Class of 2028 is December 4, 2023. Applicants who submit their financial aid application (available November 1) by this priority date will learn of their financial aid award with their admission decision.

The Financial Assistance Priority Filing Deadline for current families will be March 21, 2024.

Prospective and incoming families in need of financial assistance are encouraged to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment form online through the CCHS website, beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2023, and prior to Monday, December 4, 2023, so the school may provide financial assistance decisions with the admissions decisions in February 2024.

Financial assistance decisions are made separately from the admissions process and have no impact on a student’s eligibility for admission.

All families applying for financial assistance must submit their most recent tax returns with W-2s and all supporting schedules. (More details are available below under "Applying for Financial Aid.")

All financial information is held in the strictest confidence by the Financial Aid Committee.

Families are required to reapply for financial assistance each year; however, every attempt is made to provide ongoing assistance to returning students that demonstrate continued need.

A limited number of academic merit-based scholarships are available to students enrolling at Central Catholic as freshmen. These scholarships utilize HSPT results to consider eligibility.

Apply for Financial Assistance

To complete the online application for financial assistance, you will need:

A complete copy of your 2023 tax returns (either electronic or paper versions);
Your 2023 W2 forms;
All supporting schedules.

You will also need to submit a payment of $40 via credit or debit card.

Prospective Families

The Financial Assistance Application is available on November 1, 2023. The Applicants who submit their financial assistance application by December 4, 2023 will learn of their financial assistance award with their admissions decision.

The priority filing deadline for current students for the 2024-2025 school year is March 21, 2024.

The 2024-2025 academic tuition has been set at $17,020.

The Board of Directors at Central Catholic is keenly aware of the financial challenges facing families.

Guided by our Marist mission and commitment to provide you with the best experience in private, Catholic education at the greatest value, we recently met to determine how to maintain our excellence while addressing rising costs for families and our school.

Affirming our commitment, we set next year’s 2024-2025 tuition at $17,020, which is an increase of 4.5%.

While most schools are seeing significant jumps in tuition, we continue to maintain one of the lowest tuition rates among private and Catholic college-preparatory schools in the region.

About FACTS

We are pleased to announce that Central Catholic partners with FACTS, a tuition management solution provider that offers simple, secure, and convenient payment plans and financial need assessment for schools nationwide.

We offer a number of payment options available for families, who may elect to make one payment, two separate payments, or 11 equal, monthly payments.

FACTS Payment Plan Options

FACTS Payment Plan Options

To help families manage tuition, we offer these three different payment plan options through FACTS:

Option A: Full installment paid by 6/15/2024
Option B: Two installments paid by 6/15/2024 and 11/15/2024
Option C: Eleven (11) monthly installments with payments beginning 6/15/2024

There is no fee associated with either Option A or Option B.

There is a $50 annual fee paid directly to FACTS for Option C.
